ABSTRACT: The period, directly following up the consolidation of the Italian situation, between the end of the XIX Century and the first half of the XX  Century, is not less problematical [than the previous ones]. It is fundamental to try to respond to unclear historical issues and, if it is necessary, to risk the opening of new questions.
